Okay, so today I woke up and the remaining users before we reach Sulit.com.ph’s 2,000,000,000 users is almost less than 10 already. We’ve been on a whole day watch since yesterday and the forecast was between 7am-10am. There was a 30-minute delay in the forecast but it was still a good forecast by RJ David, our boss.
Fortunately for me too, I was able to get a screenshot right then and there when the 2,000,000,000th member popped up.
And then everybody in the office celebrated! We checked who the was the lucky user but sad to say it was one of our own employees, the new members. But nonetheless Sulit.com.ph has added another 1M users in a span of a year.
So, what does this exactly mean? For the consumers, it means that more and more people are using the site. That would mean a lot of potential buyers (if you are a Seller), and more equally important a lot of stuff to look for (if you are a Buyer). Not only that, your items are automagically viewable when searching even in Google!
The 2-million members mark also means a celebration for the company. Sulit.com.ph never fails to feed their employees. Around 3pm, the company had a celebration.
